500 Atari Token contest

Greetings guys, I'm Xander, Co host of the Red Shirt Army Podcast. As always we are holding a weekly contest to give back to our listeners that love STO. This week we are giving away 500 Atari Tokens used to buy stuff from the C-Store in Star Trek online. All you have to do is send us your best, funny, epic screen shot from STO to our mail at renshirtarmy@gmail.com. Thats it, simple, and if you can, tune in to RSA TV at livestream.com/redshirtarmypodcast or trekradio.net this Sunday the 15th of May 2011 at 6pm EST and watch our live show where we will be announcing the winner. If you can also make it in game, come party with us wile we do the show. If your attending the event and win, we will give you the prise on the spot, but if you cant make it, we will contact you by email. But be sure to enter your pic's by the 14th.

Greeting all, Xander here with the big announcement that we touched on in our last show. Some of you have heard some rumors that RSA was looking into new Radio Stations and leaving TrekRadio.net, well Yes its true, and No its not. Well lets get right to it shall we, after a week of meeting and late nights, beer and coffee, Venteilo and TeamSpeak [tried for the first time, it was really cool, but scares the crap out of ya when this random robo chick starts talking out of the blue,lol] i finally been able to hammer out a sweet deal with my counter parts. Well bust out the synthahol cause its party time!!!! RSA jest got syndicated Subspace Radio, Blade Radio and High Voltage Radio!!!!! Yeaaa for us!!! But the Home of RSA's Live show has been and still is Trek Radio on Sunday at 6pm EST and we're happy to be there.
Now as far as syndication i first off i would like to shout out to Tribble, Jahner and aCe over at Subspace-radio.net for letting RSA start the day for there audience in our sweet time slot of Wednesday at 9am EST.Next we have our very special friends over at Bladeradio.com. And i'm talking to you Rabe, Popcorn and Jay for showing us a great time and letting RSA settle in to our cozy Sundays at 9pm EST with a possibility of a second weekly RSA RETRO show playing our older show, a great way to see where we came from. And lastly what can i say about HighVoltageRadio.spruz.com, Marie Lux and Huntress sure know how to make you feel at home in our Friday at 9pm EST spot. We traveled all round Star Trek Online during our meeting and i even met some of there fan who had nothing but great things to say.
In closing i'd like to say that it was a lot of fun meeting everyone that runs all the stations. And now, whether you like the High Voltage's dance beat, or Blade's rock n roll, or SubSpace's all around sweetness, you will now have RSA as part of your stations line up. So stay Tuned to our site and your favorite radio station to hear our next episode.

Game Universe Unknown......

Hi all, i hope your all having a good day. I jest wanted to say that me and my good friend Galen galen82.deviantart.com/ are teaming up and starting our own universe... YEAAA!!!! LOL. Currently we are in R&D. His main focus is star ship design at the moment wile i'm tinkering with some ideas about our universe's background and Art Assets that will belong in our idea of 300 years in the future.
Wile i don't want to give away any details, i think it's safe to say that we want to marry the ideas of MECHWORRIOR, Halo, Mass Effect and Star Trek Bridge Commander into one game. Weather you want to fight from first person view or from inside a cock pit, or to go third person and see the person or unit your operating, we will have it for all types of players. That being said, the universe is not going to be driven by combat, but by a healthy balance of that and story, to emerge the player in an episode type story filled with fun and game play.
And as for Art Assets, where would we bee in 300 years?
Being that i was a soldier once upon a time, I come to think that the army is not going to be running around in a Spartan suit, or a nano suit, but maybe something in between?? The current armor tec we have is big, bulky, not that flexible, not that effective and weights allot, but very customizable. In 300years i think it would have better protection, very flexible, customizable and hard and a resumable weight.
Also like armor, i think that air craft and ground units would be more evolved from our current style then say a flying saucer,lol. I'm attempting to contact a few DA artist here from my Favs to recrut then for some concept art comissions so i hope to see my idea of army tec soon.

Greetings all. In light of our upcoming first anniversary, Star Fleet R&D wants to give back to the community.
After much thought, we have come up with a great idea to give back to you all for all the support over this year, and to promote our new Forum as well.
If this goes well, hopefully this will be the first of many to come.
